We bring together a variety of competences and methods to address the following research question:
How can we operate through cognition to foster prosocial behavior?

We start from the hypothesis that:
social motives are the main drivers of prosocial behavior;
different cognitive modes activate different types of social motives.

theoretical analysis based on evolutionary models;
empirical analysis, based on lab, online and field experiments.
